Their house isn't the nicest but this frat contains a large majority of football players. Extremely tight knit group and welcoming to all that enter. Known for their respect for women these gents really care about creating a safe and secure environment in which women feel comfortable. Their house is directly across from chi psi and they tend to remind me of an animal house like group that focuses on the positives and cultivating a bond within their group. They do have quite a few attractive members as well. I was in a triple with 2 friends, who were the best part of Schuyler. The triple was the size of a super single. I honestly expected a larger room, and I was pretty dissatisfied. Cornell needs to work on increasing the amount of housing for their students. The building has no air conditioning, and the elevator is functional but scary. Some amazing professors. The library has pet-therapy days. The only problem is they don't believe in snow days so it is really hard in the winter. The rooms in Jogues are clearly the smallest with strange cutouts, but by the end of the year I knew I had lucked out. It is the biggest freshmen dorm and has a sense of camaraderie. The environment Jogues has is much more social with open lounges and more of a bond to Jogues. I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else. I was placed in a single dorm at alice lloyd in my freshamn year (I am a senior now) and when i was a freshman it was recently renovated a really awesome. The rooms are spacious and its a perfect distance away from central campus, it is close to the recreation building and the food at mojo is awesome. Overall, I think that it is the best dorm I have stayed in. Overall, the girls are really nice and fun. Although they are very involved on campus and usually have one of the highest GPAs among Greeks, they are somewhat of an outlier. It isn't in the best location but if you have a car or know someone with a car (which is most people on campus) you can have a lot of fun. The dorms here are nicer than any other college I've visited, and the food here is great. Parties are good, there's usually a lot of options every weekend, but there's also a lot to do if you don't drink. The school has amazing amenities; outdoor pools, a cinema, an arcade and a lot more. The academics here get better every year and you can tell administration is trying to hire top rated professors. It's different for everyone but try to bring your out utensils or water bottles to safe your stomach from some discomfort. Rent goes up every year. Everyone stays to themselves so there is NO community feel. Maintenance works 1 hour and sits another 4. The manager does bear minimum to keep her boss happy Laundry is a huge pain because each building ONLY has 1 washer/dryer. The Kitchenette has No storage- an extra small stove-and no counter top area to work. The only thing going for this place is that it's on campus. It's almost all international, as well. One of the worst dorms on campus. All of the academic fields offered at USD are excellent, as are the organizations and student Greek life. Because it is a smaller private university I have received invaluable care and attention that I would not have been offered at any other school. USD caters to every student in the best ways possible! It is always very clean and the people that work there are very nice. There is aquatic equipment such as paddles, kick boards, and floaties (like what a swim team member would use for practice). The locker rooms are attached and are very clean and nice. The rooms are a decent size with two people to a room with no sinks. There is also a A/C unit in the rooms that you can control. The bathrooms are very nice and are kept clean. There are vending machines, a laundry room, and a kitchen o the first floor. This is an all female dorm building.
